Header / Footer

Create informative and functional Header / Footer & MegaMenu’s with ease, using Droit Addons for Elementor’s Header / Footer & MegaMenu module. 

To Use Header / Footer & MegaMenu

Make sure you have the Header / Footer & MegaMenu module enabled from your Dashboard > Droit Addons > Modules. 

Header

Step 1

For this example, we’ll be creating a header using our Whal – Digital Marketing & SEO WordPress Theme.

To start building a Header, visit your WordPress Dashboard > Header Footer > Headers > Add New From here, you can create as many headers as you require. 

You can add your header title from here and do make sure that you have the template option selected to “Elementor Canvas and hit publish.

You can also make it visible on your entire website or on specific pages by toggling on and off from the sidebar “Display On option and selecting your preferred pages.

Step 2

To customize your Header further, go to Whal Options. Or in the case of any other theme, visit its settings option from the dashboard. 

From the Whal Header menu, you can add your website’s logo, sticky logo retina logo and so much more.

After you’re done press Save Changes, to see site-wide changes take effect.

Step 3

We will be using Elementor page builder to add content to the Header section, but before doing so we must make sure that we have the required Post Types selected and enabled from the WordPress Dashboard > Elementor > Settings > General settings tab. 

When you’re done make sure to hit Save Changes

Step 4

Now to add content to your Header, visit your WordPress Dashboard > Header Footer > Headers > Header and click on the Elementor page builder button or click on the page and then click on the Elementor button. 

You can utilize widgets from Elementor or Droit Addons for Elementor to add content to your Header section. For example, we’ve added our header menu by utilizing the Whal Menu widget. 

And that’s it. When you’re done, press “Publish” to save your changes.

Footer

Step 1

To start building a Footer, visit your WordPress Dashboard > Header Footer > Footers > Add New. From here, you can create as many footers as you require. 

You can add your Footer title from here and do make sure that you have the template option selected to “Elementor Canvas and hit publish.

You can also make it visible on your entire website or on specific pages by toggling on and off from the sidebar “Display On option and selecting your preferred pages.

Step 2

Now to add content to your Footer, visit your WordPress Dashboard > Header Footer > Footers and click on the Elementor page builder button.

From here, you can utilize widgets from Elementor or Droit Addons for Elementor to add content to your Footer section. For example, we’ve added our service list by utilizing the Icon List widget in the Footer section.

Step 3

To add Copyright or any other type of content below your Footer section, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Whal Options > Footer > Content. From here you can add any kind of text-based content below your Footer section.

After you’re done press Save Changes, to see site-wide changes take effect.
